Nutritional Therapy
What is nutritional therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. It can help to alleviate a wide range of health conditions, and seeks to identify and address the potential underlying causes behind an individual’s symptoms. Each person is recognised as an individual, with unique nutritional requirements; a personalised nutrition and lifestyle programme is developed rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing. It is never recommended as a replacement for medical advice, and clients with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms are referred to their medical professional.
